1. Review and solve the exercises  Giving directions – A2 English Vocabulary

2. In this unit, we learned vocabulary about places in a town and how to give and ask for directions.

Writing Task

Write an essay about your neighbourhood.

Describe the places near your home, where they are located, and what you like or don't like about the area. Write 120–150 words.

Include:

• At least 5 places in your neighbourhood (park, supermarket, pharmacy, library, school, café, etc.)

• There is / There are

• At least 3 prepositions of place (next to, opposite, between, near, behind, in front of)

• At least 2 adjectives to describe places

• What you like and/or dislike about your neighbourhood

• One sentence giving directions to a place near your home
